How Do I get to the Amtrak Station? (As of Sep 15)
1. Take the Base shuttle from flight terminal (runs every hour, 50 min on the hour.) to the main NEX.
2. Wait in front of Starbucks for KART (Kings Area Rural Transit) bus that will take you to the Amtrak station in Hanford. ($1.50, last stop). KART buses have two trips in the morning (0600 & 0720), one at 1210 and two in the afternoon (1610 & 1740).
3. Amtrak can take you to Stockton, San Francisco or Sacramento. (Sacramento fare is $32.) The San Francisco train will allow you to connect to another train that will take you to Fairfield (Travis AFB).
4. There is also a Hertz rental car office at the NEX
