  • Dover Flight Meals: Dover now issues your boxed meals to you BEFORE boarding the aircraft. The meals are given to you AFTER final security screening. This may be a concern for disabled travelers as well as the single moms trying to manage two or three children and their carry-ons.     1. Take the SEPTA's Airport Line from the airport a couple of stops to Universal City Station
    2. Change over to SEPTA's Wilmington/Newark Regional Rail heading for Newark Delaware and get off at the Wilmington Amtrak Station.
    3. Take Dover Transit (DART) Route 301 Express (Look under Inter County)(stop is just outside the Amtrak station) to Dover (exact change coins and $1.00 bills and no service on weekends)
    4. Dover Transit (DART) Route 106 (Look under Kent County) will get you near the main gate off-base (again, no service on weekends).

    2. Catch Dover Transit (DART) Route 301 Express (Look under Inter County) from Water St. Transfer Station and take it to Wilmington Amtrak Station.
    3. Catch SEPTA's Wilmington/Newark Regional Rail to Philly Market East Station.
    4. Walk 2 blocks to Greyhound Station at 10th and Filbert and catch the NJ Transit Route #317 to McGuire’s front gate. Wait inside the terminal and look for the proper gate (seniors and military ID card discount).
    5. This can take about 8-9 hours to accomplish during the day so check the timetables and days carefully. You can get schedules at the Dover terminal USO and use the links under the Dover and McGuire listings on this page.
